Really slow and steady

I have been having knee niggles since last week's run so have been trying to do stretches and being ultra careful on my runs.

So it was with a little fear and trepidation that I set off on my last run of Ju-Jus 10k plan.

All was going well until 7k which is around the same distance my knee started acting up last week. So I reduced my speed and kept going. Barring my knee actually falling off there was no way I was stopping!

Right or wrong the run is done. One of the slowest 10k runs around I wouldn't mind being but remember it's not always about speed. The journey had been good for me and I am now left wondering what next.

Now that I am "out of plan" I might just do that ParkRun I have been putting off!

Happy running everyone.

Very well done! 😀👍

I will complete Ju ju’s 10 k plan next week and I’m already thinking what will I do next!

Rarely get to do a Park run as I work Saturdays! I’ll just keep pottering around looking for new routes 😀
