Okay. Forget to claim my 10k badge. Been doing 10km non-stop once a month since January having graduated C25K last year. Could I have the 10km badge please as well? Just did 1:02:47 today.
Hello, I completed 10k at the end of March, after starting C25K in November. Please could have a badge. I am now running 10k each Sunday in April to raise money for Parkinson's UK
By some weird accident of fate, I ran my first 10K on Saturday night. Does the badge happen when you've managed it three times in a row (a la C25K graduation), in which case I'll return when that's the case, or do I qualify for the awesomeness already?
[Squeals in very undignified way] Thank you! Oh I'm so chuffed I might have to go and write a long post. I jest, I'm not going to inflict yet another one on you all just yet...
I'm still in shock. Man but that badge looks goooooooood. Definitely a happy π°
Hello, can I have my badge please, I didnβt sign up to ju-ju plan, but I did get very inspired by it and altered it a little bit to get me there ( although I wasnβt meant to get here yet...see my latest post π€¦π»ββοΈ)
Anyhow, I managed my first 10k today ...very happy π
Hello Bluebirdrunner, I waited to complete a second 10K run before asking for the badge The first time, 12,5k came by surprise, but yesterday I completed W8. So happy!
I saw you had a bit of struggle with respiratory problems: definitely try antihistamines. For the last few years or so, I've had to take some when pollens are at their highest (the worst for me being plane trees) and still I sometimes wake up with an eye swollen due to conjunctivitis. I hope you'll feel better soon!
Brilliant acheivement! Congratulations π Really Well done πx
Thank you, saw the doctor again yesterday as eyes still bad and really sore throat. Now on different eye drops and a steroid nasal spray and a different anti-histermine..I think my throat feels a little less hoarse..
Sorry to hear you have problems sometimes too, its unusual for me so couldn't understand why I wasn't getting over it..
Well, it seems that allergies come and go... Pollution is definitely increasing the problem, and also, in my case, the levothyroxine I take (a lot of people on the med have dry, itchy eyes which make them more likely to get conjuntivitis). But we can grow resistant, according to some doctors. Let's hope for us it's only transitory, and your new treatment is working!
I unintentionally ran 10k this morning, which I am amazed by but well chuffed! Can I have my 10k badge please. I honestly thought I would be waiting ages for this one...... Thank you Ju Ju too for the 5 to 10k plan. π
Thanks for the pointer - didnβt realise there was a badge for 10K. Ran my first one yesterday, still on a high 24 hours later. Can I have my badge please ππ
Congratulations to all. It would be nice if we could get proper medals! I did an official 7k (my first) a couple of weeks ago and was so disappointed so still after my first. Completed C25K a few months back and now on Bridge2ten. I see these programs as a major turning point in my health and fitness and it would be a good way of recognising what are the pivotal achievements. I would happily pay and profits could go into site administration or charity.
Hi Jonno, this is an old post. Well done with your running, 7k is brilliant and you can get actual medals if you would like to by looking on sites such as Virtual runner or Race your pace. There are lots of distances to chose from and some of the money you pay goes to charity and you will receive your medal in the post. It's something a few of us do from time to time. See what you think.
Ahhh saw April and thought it was this April! I do think it would be a good idea if it was done for C25K and B210K as an official medal, does not seem right just buying any old medal. I will see if I can find an admin to take it on board.
