I made it, I didn't think I would! Now debating wether to give week one another go or just attempt week 2 and see how it goes. I still struggled with run 3, more so towards the end of each run . How do u know if ur really ready for the next weeks change?!

Congratulations Lisha89! If you finished the runs move on. You'll be ready for W2R1 in a day or two. If you look at what you did during each of the runs this week you'll realise what improvements you made between runs 1 and 2 and 2 and 3.

You're on your way! 😊

Move on to W2 if you’ve successfully completed all three runs of W1. Happy running 🏃‍♀️

I agree, if you completed week 1 then move on to week 2, it is tougher but you will be surprised at what you can do. Good luck

Read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

If you finish, move on. This is building your belief in your ability, which is crucial for being a runner. Only repeat a run if you cannot complete it.

Onwards!

Lisha89 - move on, job done.

Seriously, unless you really really struggled and actually failed to do the running intervals, then you have done the week successfully. Each run is stretching you that little bit more, so undoubtedly Run 3 of each week usually feels harder than run 1.

The great thing about the plan is that if one run is a problem and say for example you couldn’t manage one of the running intervals, you just repeat that one specific run.

Often we put pressure on ourselves to perform the ‘best’ ‘most perfect’ runs, and at this stage, completion is all the programme is asking you to do.

You are ready to move on, and of course Run 1 W2 will feel harder again, but remember every time you are stretching yourself just that little bit more.

IannodaTruffe is spot on, self belief is all in this game. A lot of us repeat runs, but genuinely most of us do that because there was an issue. Give W2 R1 a go and you may surprise yourself.

Slow and steady is the mantra as ever - take care and happy running on your second week!
