I have now managed 2 of the week one training sessions , but can hardly do the runs at all , I just manage a slightly faster ( not quite a jog) kinda movement, do you think I should just Re run week one again until I can actually manage the run part .... finding it so hard I’m so out of shape .... I was just wondering what people’s thought are ????

If you completed the run I think that you should move on to the next one.All my week 1 efforts were terrible, but the fact that I was soooo. exhausted pushed me into the following week, as I just had to get fitter.

Keep slowly pushing through, it doesn't have to be fast, as long as you are moving forward. 🚶‍♀️🏃‍♀️

If you actually complete the run intervals and you are maintaining a running motion throughout, (both feet simultaneously off the ground on each stride) then keep up the impetus and move onto the next run.......you may surprise yourself.

If you are not completing the workout, simply repeat it until you can and then move on.

It is all laid out in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Don't worry, you have done the hardest run.........that is actually getting started, well done.

Yes stick with it! We are all unfit off the couch! You get a bit fitter each time you head out. You only need to move slowly. Nothing else

Try and walk more! I,found that to be the single most useful exercise other than running, and is great for non run days. I walk everywhere now when I’m not running 👍💪😃

The programme is designed for couch potatoes. It does work. It will work for you too. Don’t give up and do follow IannodaTruffe’s advice.

Move on to the next week if you completed the runs in week one.

Persevere, this program will be the best thing you do. You've made the biggest step by starting this program; you're off the couch and on the way to becoming fitter and healthier. Believe me you won't regret it! There's no way I'd like to go back to being my old out of breath walking up the stairs self 🙄

Also as MW said on the non run days go for a nice walk, it really does help with fitness levels

Good luck and keep posting X
