W1R1 done :-)

Having hit a few bumps in the road I struggled to get out the door and yet again did nothing when I promised myself and this community I would run.

However, this morning I read all of your comments again and realised that I am just being ridiculous and put on my running shoes, grabbed the dog lead and off we went.

I have just returned from W1R1 and I feel more energetic and alive than I have in years!

I loved it and so did Dexter... My furry friend.

I felt like I could have completed a few more intervals but I remembered what people had commented and didn't want to run before I could walk... So to speak.

Thank you all so much for your words of encouragement and helping complete the hardest run I will ever do... The first!

Can't wait for R2 on Monday

Well done. You have got this and when your daughter arrives you will be running for 25 minutes 3 times a week- a great role model and full of vim and vigor- Go you!

Well done.

Keep that enthusiasm in check. We can mostly do more than the programme recommends, but you will feel a fool if you come to a standstill because you pushed beyond the programme structure and get injured.

The weeks will fly by and if you want to be a better runner, cross training on your rest days with non impact exercise, as mentioned in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Well done Sir!!! Take it slowly then slower still and you WILL be running for 30 mins if you follow this wonderful program. Good luck I’m cheering you on. Take care of yourself

Just keep going. If you can’t run/jog to the end walk to it but keep going ok. You can do this.

7 weeks ago I couldn’t run for 1 minute but it now I’m running for 10 minutes. KEEP GOING🙂
