So since I started on Wednesday and didn’t have time for all three runs, I decided last week’s two would be practise runs and today would be a reset.
I’m cooling down now and doing a hell of a lot better than I was when I started. I loved it from day one but I think today is the first time I’ve felt like I can really do this.
I’m taking it slow at the moment with a gentle jogging speed but this time I did feel inspired to step it up for the last 20 seconds. I doubt I could’ve done it for any longer than that but it felt good!
So I am sweaty and optimistic for at least the week ahead...

Yeah R1 was Wednesday, with rest days I didn’t want it to carry over into the next week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday runs fit around my week best so as of today, that’s what I’m doing.
I see! Ok, you could just consider yourself two days ahead, but that’s cool. Those two extra runs will give you a boost into week two next week. Ok, now I’m confusing myself I think. Any way up you’re doing great.
Thanks I considered that but I’d prefer it all to fit neatly into each week. The way I see it, those two runs gave me a chance to get a feel for it and now I’ve had that practise I think I’ll do a lot better when I get to week 2
Oh for sure, that’s the reason there’s also no fail... so 20 minutes of a 25 and can’t carry on, next time you’re 20 minutes of running stronger... so yeah, you got 16 extra minutes under your belt which will help a lot. I started on a different app that I wasn’t ready for and all those little runs are helping me along.
