Last run of week 7 and two firsts. This is the first time I've done a morning run, also the first time I've felt insane enough to go running in the rain. All those times I've muttered about runners being mental for running in bad weather (as I've passed in my car), and now I get it!!

Roll on week 8 ☺

Rain? It's just wet... says she who has not gone out, in a rainstorm and high winds! Mind, it was very, very early :)

Very, very well done you! Relax now into these lovely longer runs.. let the legs find their happy pace and carry you towards that podium.. :)

If I hadn't procrastinated for so long about whether or not to go out due to it looking like it was going to rain, I probably would have had a dry run!

I did intend to observe some of the nearby park run, but was so wet I decided to just head home and dry off. I feel like I'm finally finding my ideal pace now, and not puffing and panting anymore which is nice 😊
