Just completed R2 it seemed harder than R1 ! Although I think I ran slower for longer. I live in a really hilly village so when I do my first 3 runs its all up hill then i turn around and do the others downhill. Much better. Legs are feeling it today.

I don’t wonder! Hills are very hard so hats off to you for even attempting them at this early stage 🙂. You only need go really slowly, no need to hurry or push. Small steps on hills. Say to yourself as you climb slowly upwards, “small, steps! Small steps! Small steps”. 💪😃👍🏃‍♀️ It seems to help having a mantra to repeat

Hills are good for your puff, and for getting weight from your midriff, they are easier on the shins too apparently.

Good luck 👍🙂

Oh good ! I need some midriff off. That makes me feel better there is no where flat here at all its up or down. Pitfall and perk of living in Devon. Thank you :)

Am always going on about this but have a look at the niko niko slow jogging video on YouTube. I hadn't done any hills on my runs but there was a cheeky one on the parkrun I did at the weekend. Did niko niko up the hill and all was well. Its like a springy tiny stride shuffle. Also good if you get overwhelmed with breathing issues whilst running and need to slow slow down.
