After too much procrastinating I signed up today and have completed first run. Easier than I thought but I know it’s going to get a lot lot harder!

Stick to the program and don’t be tempted to go further. I made that mistake once and regretted it temporarily. Go slow and don’t feel like you’ve failed if it goes badly, just repeat the run after a day or two’s rest. Don’t underestimate the value of rest too.

It’s the most amazing thing to complete this course. I hadn’t even planned to do it. I just stumbled across the app one lazy Saturday morning and tried the first run.

I was hooked! And I hate exercise. Absolutely hate it.

If I can you can!!!

Good luck Jan. 👍🏼

It is not.🤔👏👏

As Jude says.👍

It is a tried and tested programme, and the facilatotors and forum amazing.Read the FAQ’s

Keep visiting the forum and asking for what you need, if you have not already found it.

Two things, slow and steady and breathing, just do what is natural to you.

Footfall under your hips to be kind to your un strengthened legs and slow enough to take your extra oxygen onboard.

There is plenty other stuff to think about, preparation for your run day and warmup and reminders, posture and how you use your repair day.

It is all here, enjoy it, your gift to yourself.🌟👏👏🏃‍♀️

You've done the hardest bit! As you get fitter and stronger, you won't notice the step ups quite so much. Well done. 👍👍👍

Check this out, keep it slow and steady, and just enjoy... maybe not easier, but, each run builds on the one before... and you get stronger with each one... Keep it slow and keep it steady :)

Welcome:)

Well done 😊 you never know it might not be harder as you have already done the runs before so your legs will already be a bit stronger 😊

It doesn’t get much harder than week 1 tbh! No matter which run you are on, you’ve always built yourself up to do it previously. Well done. This forum is fab too!

Well done the first run is the hardest to do, and you got this out the way.

We jans can do this.

Good luck and happy running
