Week 1 run 1: Completed! I thought I was going... - Couch to 5K
Week 1 run 1
Hi Elegoo, welcome to the world of C25K. You should feel proud of the start you have made, well done! There is lots of useful information on here so take time to read it, it will help you pace yourself and avoid injury. Please remember that C25K is a generic program so you can always repeat a run if you need to and take it slower if necessary. There are lots of us on here who will take a lot longer than 9 weeks to reach the finish line. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
Well done, the first step is the hardest.
Hello and welcome aboard!!
This programme is fantastic and it teaches you more than just how to run! You won't die, not from this 😉 and what's more you'll have fun!!
Enjoy! 🤗
Welcome and well done. Glad you've lived to tell the tale Good luck with your running journey.
Well done! I did first run yesterday. Also thought I would die. But here I am! Keep going. ☺
That's fab , go really slow, loads of support on here so keep posting your progress.😊
Thanks for all the support everyone!
Well done on getting started with this wonderful journey. Good on you!! Just go at your pace whatever that might be.
I never thought I’d do it either. I started in January and graduated a couple of weeks ago. Thoroughly proud of myself!!!
Stick at it. It really works. Don’t go ahead of the program and respect all the advice on here. This forum is a fab place to get support. 😊
Yess, starting is definitely the hardest! Amazing work
We all thought we’d die too but we’re all still here! This amazing plan works!
You can do it!! 💪🏻
Hi I'm new to couch to 5k as well I've just, finished the first week and like you thought I was going to die, not looking forward to week2, legs were good, but the breathing part was really hard, going to try and stick with it though.
