Whoop de doop! Completed week 5

I'm so happy right now! Been worrying about w5r3 since I spotted that 20 minute run. Today was the day, set out feeling quite positive after everyones positive words on here. Then BOOM, my c25k app crashed just as Laura told me to start running!! Total panic then as I just had to set a timer for 20 mins on my phone instead. But I did it. It wasn't as bad as I expected and I'm now looking forward to starting week 6 😊

Well done, it's a game changer.

Look out for W6R1, it is tougher than it looks.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Thanks! It's certainly helped with my confidence.

I've noticed W6R1 seems to catch people out a bit. Will be tackling that beast tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Well done! And especially for doing it without any encouraging words from Laura as you were going round!

Thanks. I did have an "Oh no, I can't do this now" moment to begin with but I'm glad I still went ahead now 😊

Well done - it is a tremendous achievement and enjoy feeling proud of it. I remember feeling daunted about that and then feeling over the moon when I achieved it. Funnily enough, when I was running last night and Jo Wiley told me that I had been running for 20 minutes (I am on week 9) I remember thinking when that seemed like a gargantuan task back in week 5. You will be amazed at how quickly you can progress now that you have climbed that mountain. Next week can be a bit odd but just keep telling yourself all the useful tips and advice you have read on here and you will smash it. Well done.

It really does fly by doesn't it. Doesn't seem 5 minutes since I started it! Thanks for the advice, I will definitely be taking it on board.

Well done on getting to week 9, must feel amazing 😊

Well done! Strangely, my app did exactly the same thing at exactly the same point when I did this run on Thursday. Here’s hoping it works for w6r1.

That's odd isn't it. Well done to you too on completing it with a blip. Hopefully W6R1 will be blip free for us both
