Week 5R3 Whoop Whoop!

Feeling really smug as I have achieved what I thought was impossible! After a bit of a wobble on Saturday when I first attempted 20 minutes but stopped for 30 seconds halfway through, tonight I went at my run with a determined game face and ran for 20 minutes no problem!!! This was my "give up" point on my first C25K a couple of years ago but I so want this now I am determined to do this!!! Roll on wk6!!!

  • Well done! If at first you don't succeed etc etc Congratulations for sticking with it and succeeding this week. You really sound like you're determined to graduate - good for you!

    That is a great threshold crossed and one that will build your belief. Well done. Take W6 with caution......it catches a lot of people out.

  • That 20 mins seems like such a huge hurdle doesn't it?! Yet somehow we all manage it. For me it was a turning point, I felt if I could do that, I could manage the rest of it. And I did. No-one was more surprised than me! (Not hard when no-one other than my partner and daughter knew I was doing it ?!)

    Take it steady week 6, it suddenly feels odd to stop?!
