Someone's got to ask the stupid questions!

But how am I suppose to use the new podcasts? :-) I know it can't be rocket science so feeling rather stupid asking!

Do we do 1 Stepping stone, one speed and one stamina per week? Or is the speed ones just 'extra' on top of the stepping stone and stamina podcasts? How do we build up to the 10k, or have I got the programs all confused now?

Sorry for being so simple. :-(

No such thing as a stupid question! Wasn't quite sure what we were going to get but looking at them to me it looks like you'd start with the stepping stone (for how long i don't know) and then maybe combine the other 2...Maybe John or Laura could clarify?

There is a write up on the home page of the Couch to 5K..

I've just checked out the link above - thanks runcanada- and wow these sound like exactly what I need. Since I graduated last week I have missed the structure of the C25K.

I check this site nearly every day, how did I miss them?

But, like Elizadolots, I'm confused about how you would use them.

I listened to all three of the introductions as well. There is no set structure to these. They are not specific to building up to the 10k... not sure if there are more to come.

they only came on today :)

Like christian1 and probably the rest of you, I missed the structure of C25K after graduating and was working on interval training to boost my speed and testing this with repeating the week 9 podcast tracking weeky pace improvements and increased distance travelled. I've been checking this site every day for some notification from the team regarding the launch details of C25k+ - thought they would have lauched it with more of a fanfair!

Looking at the podcasts, it does seem you decide what you want to improve on a mix and match basis and suggest these three podcasts mirror the three training runs each week we are familiar with. They seem to be designed to help us to run the 30mins faster and cover a greater distance. Perhaps there is another podcast to come which will take us to 10K eventually?

As far s I am aware there is not going to be a podcast to actually take us to 10k. I think these podcasts are to help with speed and pacing; i.e. to improve the 5k time

To quote admin JR21: "There are a range of B210K providers out there but we're not planning to offer that service"
