Beginner's Luck...?

Alright! I got inspired by a friend to take up running. I never knew people could actually love running before. I am 164 lbs for my 159cm height and i have already started my diet. Can someone suggest me what all measures i need to take before my first run?

Not too much to think about at the start, you’ll soon learn your own hints and tips. Don’t eat big meal before, check weather forecast in case need a waterproof, other than that, just get out there and put one foot in front of other. Good luck

When I first started I was wearing any trainers that came to hand (including my daughters). The best thing I did was invest in a really good pair of trainers. They cushion impact and support in all the places I need - much less stress on the knees and shins. Go for it!

Hello and welcome aboard!

Yup, the main thing is a positive attitude! A pair of well fitting shoes helps but even those don't matter too much for the first few weeks. Do try to up your hydration every day so your body is ready for run days.

This programme is amazing and really works. It will teach you more than just how to run.

Enjoy your journey! 👍😁

Plant a great big smile across your face and have fun

If you go nice and slow it will be fun!

No hurry, no pressure. Just you and the app telling you what to do and when. 😃
