Just completed and It was hard. I was not well prepared. I had no sleep last night been breastfeeding all day ( dehydrated) so had a stitch and was quite ploddy. Ate hardly any lunch as well as was running around today. My hip and knee have been hurting me as I carry my toddler in a wrap and Yesterday walked for ages with him and older 5 year old ( carrying both at points) So hip calf and knee bit sore. Didn't have chance to pain genie which get rid of pain instantly and so was achey, dehydrated and ill prepared. Anyway none of this is an excuse or a moan, I did it and feel good. But nice to think about the basics of how I prepare for the longer runs ( eating and drinking) I had a lovely cry half way around as I cannot believe how far I have come! I love running and today was great listening to my body and seeing what effect pace had on my breathing! I can slow down pick up pace and recover whilst still running which is a brand new skill!! Thank you all XXX

Anyway onwards and upwards

Yes just done it tonight. Been working at home hunched over a desk all day. Felt so stiff but so pleased that I’ve done it now. Found it quite tough but mind over matter. Not quite sure how I’ll do 25 mins on Sunday but I thought that before the 20 min run at the end of w5 and I did it!

Yes Im aiming to do the 25 minutes on Sunday. It feels very long! but today was a hard one it sounds for both of us, maybe we will enjoy the longer run? Im going to try to relax into it and let it flow a bit more. Today everything was out even my left trainer was laced wrong! X

Oh bless you! My little boy is 7 so it’s been a while since I’ve had a baby in my arms but I remember the sleepless nights were so hard 😴 I think you’re doing amazing doing the C25K whilst juggling everything else with a young family 🙌🏃🏼‍♀️😊

Yes its a bit balmy but the running is really enabling me to have some time for myself which I rarely get xx

Bless you. I can't imagine dealing with children as well. You're doing amazing. I suspect the wee cry was a pressure release too. Sounds like the running is going to be a good release for you 🤗

Yes a complete way of releasing. Its another added bonus, crying when running XX
