Has anyone else tried a Booband in addition to their running or ordinary bra? It's a broad, elastic band that goes over the breasts and stops them from bouncing (if you're young) or flailing (if you're my age). Really effective and stops my keys from being thrown out of the top of my bra!

Love this post!! I have never heard of a boob band for exercise but I had trouble finding a bra for my 40DD ladies. Sports shops were no help as staff seemed disinterested in helping any customers in case it interrupted their banter. I asked to use a changing room and the guy didn’t even bother to look at me ; he just waved me in the direction. I then got stuck in the tight bra and thought OMG!!! I’m going to pass out! But there was no one to rescue me. 😳. I eventually got it back over my head and was left in a massive sweat and high blood pressure.
I then popped into M&S and found 2 wonderful extra strong, front zip boulder holders. Success!! 😁

I hadn’t realised they existed! My sports bras from Bravissimo are very good- nothing going anywhere! - Although I do feel a trifle armour plated! 😂
Depends on your size of course, because it's the usual case of over a 38, tough luck (aaaaaarrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh) - but these are awesome for stuff not going anywhere and yet feeling so wonderfully light and not armour plated: shockabsorber.co.uk/product...

I've seen these, but I'm not sure why they might be needed if you have a well-fitting sports bra. My ShockAbsorbers are structurally engineered and although not flattering, believe me, nothing bounces, flails or otherwise moves anywhere

In most forums something with that title would have a gazillion reads methinks!
I can totally see how that would help with most sports bras [insert rant here about difficulty of getting mainstream outlets to do high impact bras for big girls]. Will have to check it out for days when my go-to-bras are too snug and I'm wearing the larger ones.
Not sure if Anniemurph and I are enamoured of the same bra (cos I find it plenty flattering), but I can't recommend this one enough: shockabsorber.co.uk/product... It flattens you right down, yet is somehow comfortable. It's like, "Wow, this is what a non-Hello-Matron silhouette looks like!" And yes, I know it's still doesn't go up high enough in the sizes for the proper big girls, (indeed it was too small for me when I started C25K) but godsend for us on the lower ranks.
I'm giggling over the keys comment. I've never done the whole "extra pocket" thing!
The one I have goes up to a 40HH, although my girls aren't quite that big , and I guess the reason I don't find it all that flattering is because it flattens them out and straps them down
However, they don't bounce around when I'm running which is the main thing!
I think as long as you find something that's supportive and comfortable, and works for you so you can get out there and run, all is good. Personally, I would never wear a front-loader with a zip - I have heard one too many stories of larger ladies bursting out mid-run I'm also a bit baffled by sports bras with boning - get that wrong and I think you might be heading for a world of hurt. What does annoy me is the cost though because none of them are cheap.
