Exercise is such a small part of weight loss, it's all about a calorie deficit! science is science consume less calories and you'll lose the weight

Yes I agree, but exercise can become the driver later on. Depends in a persons starting point. Most weight loss regimes need the exercise component.👏👏

It can be challenging, but it’s not impossible. I don’t believe in diets - I think they just set people up for failure. The best way to lose weight is through changing your lifestyle - for good. More exercise and more of the right foods, but not denying yourself a treat now and again is infinitely more manageable. It just takes time to adjust to any new lifestyle, and you have to be in it for the long term, and not expect instant results...

Home cooked food involving lots of veg is a good place to start. And lots of water and the C25K plan!

Hi there.. are you going to start the C25K programme.. it could be a step in the right direction... also, take a peek at our sister site too..

healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

There are quite few folk in this forum on that one also..they say it works really well:)

Please read this link here

....and think about starting the C25K programme. It is not a weight loss programme, but ,it will help you feel fitter and finer:) You may lose weight or you may not. But, linked with a healthy eating regime, the benefits, both physical and mental are immeasurable !

Jebet is not saying anything. What is her motivation that she will have to bring.🤔

Whether she does diet or any exercises or medical conditions.

She has only said she is not able.

She needs to bring her motivation, reasons and her goals.🤔👏👏

Why not?

Yes, you can. It won't happen overnight, but you can start now, make the first step and take one day at a time. The word diet should be banished - Sadie-runs is right that it's a question of changing your lifestyle, not feeling that you are depriving yourself. The fact that you have posted here shows that you have the motivation to do something - so why not start now? In six months time you can be in the same place as you are now, or be happier and healthier... Give it a try - the Healthunlocked site is the right place to find support to help you on the way. Everyone here has radically changed their lifestyle by starting to run - and some people have lost a lot of weight and made truly awesome progress. You can, too.
