I am 29 years old male sitting at the BMI scale 37.7. Really need to loose weight and been to the go several times but not really helpful. It’s at a stage where dieting plans are not great help. As after a month it’s so hard to carry on dieting

I'm sorry that your gp wasn't very helpful or supportive why not try a different gp and see if they can refer you to any weight loss support program. You have got to change your eating habits for the long term so see what you can do to help yourself also . Start doing c25k again and see what happens , hope this is helpful good luck
I know it's tough. In my life I must have lost dozens of stones only to put them back on again, and more.
I'm currently happy with my weight, which is right at the top of my healthy BMI range and I have kept it there for many years.
The price I pay for being there is:
I don't drink alcohol or any fizzy drinks.
I don't have sugar, butter/oil or salt in the house
I don't buy biscuits, cakes, sweets or anything that I know will shout at me from the back of a dark cupboard.
No takeaways ever!
After a while the thought of a takeaway with all that fat, salt etc is revolting and easier to resist.
I ask family and friends not to buy me edible presents.
If I go out for a meal I look at the menu ahead of time and if there is nothing I feel comfortable eating I ask for what I do feel comfortable with. Restaurants can and do understand.
I plan my meals at least a week ahead.
I do eat loads of food.
I do enjoy eating.
I do walk or cycle most days, and now I run at least 30 mins 3xpw - never thought I would say that!
So you can do it but you have to be aware of and willing to pay the price.
If you are make a plan and stick to it for 6 months. There is no downside to weight loss so you have nothing to lose and lots to gain.
Good luck on your journey and remember the first couple of weeks are the worst. Get past those and you are in your way. 👍
As a chap who has dropped from 123 kg (I’m very tall) to 103 kg over 2 years, I would advise taking it slowly and number one priority would be knocking things with added sugar on the head (you’ll get what sugars you need from vegetables). Then other “lazy” carbs like potatoes, white bread and rice.
