Morning...completed my run, it did feel better than my one on Tuesday, had a slight mishap with the podcast, about 15 minutes into my run I got a phone call, I ignored it , always do, ( should explain I use phone for running) and it’s buried in pockets so I never take it out...anyhow long story short, the missed phone call paused the podcast so I finished the run in silence...which was really really weird!!...me being more of a blunt knife than a sharp edge I didn’t realise until about 5 mins from the end🤣😂...inrun on the park run 5k course so I know where I usually go,.

Hope everyone is well, I tried a podcast ( a football one, I know! I know! But I’m a boy and some of us like it) instead of music today for a change and it was really good actually, I used to think I would only run to music but I found it a pleasant distraction concentrating on the conversation ( it’s a football debate type of thing( my team better than yours etc etc)) that kept on playing, it was the couch 25k one that stopped which is also why I probably didn’t notice 🤦🏻‍♂️

Take care all...only 4 runs left 😛

As I run with bluetooth headphones I recall the first time the battery ran out and I then had a further 5-6k with no music.. was weird at first but very quickly my focus which initially was on the sound of my own breathing and footfall, drifted away back to the non running related. I think for many of us, the music just becomes white noise in the background and isn't really needed but becomes just another thing we feel we need or feel discombobulated without.

Hehe, someone else used it yesterday and it jogged my memory that it was an oft favoured word of my youth :)
