W5R1 today and it was tough to start with but I finished it! Not very speedy and wonder if I will accomplish the 5k in 30 mins in week 9 but the fact that I ran for 15 minutes (& survived!) gives me the determination to carry on and just see what happens 🤞

Good work! And seriously, very few people finish the programme by running 5k in 30 mins. That’s not the aim! The aim is to run a continuous 30 mins - and you will! I graduated in November, and it took me a while to get to 5k. Running is a journey that continues to surprise and delight! Slow and steady my friend. 😀

Well done! I just did my W5R1 today after a 5 day break. I did find it quite hard. I’ve never run before so this is all new to me! Slightly unsure about the next run but will trust the programme and believe I CAN do it!

Your name says it all speedy running utterly unimportant in the programme. Continuous running at a steady pace is the winning tactic. Well done and happy running for W5
