Not as I imagined but hey Iβve done it π. Probably one of the slowest runs ever and certainly the wettest feet wise, running in snow, slush and hidden puddles as the snow thaws.
Love the way Michael says run through the pain in the last minute whatever happened to caution, have you seen these conditions.
Next week I will get to do a Parks Run which had meant to be my graduation run. My aim is to get quicker rather than run further so any advice would be great. Feeling a little bereft already that I no longer have the discipline of the programme to follow.
Thank you to everyone who has clicked a like, posted advice and encouragement it really really has made a difference. π
One of the pivotal moments for me was understanding the importance of rest days and taking extra ones where necessary.

I had a slushy run today too - but a graduation run is graduation run so woohoo!ππ
In terms of improving your time I'd recommend having a look at the C25k+ podcasts (stepping stone, speed and stamina) - they've really helped improve my pace (and I have run my fastest 5ks with the stamina one) - though some on here don't like them and I think it depends on what your pace is to begin with.
Bum, I missed your Graduation Run - knew it was due, but time clearly is flying! Many, many congrats! I was a bit clueless without the programme, so I know what you mean. Can't really help with advice for your next goal, because I'm the opposite, plodding onwards, but further! Though to be fair, just doing consolidating did bring my speed up as a side effect...
