I have been unable to train for a week just as I was going to start w5. Should I start the w5 training as I've not done anything the past 7 days?

Start where you were and head onwards... fitness does not diminish that quickly...:)

If you do have times when running is impossible ( excluding injuries or illness), then other exercises, for strength and stamina help keep us going :)

Definitely give it a go. The extra rest might have done you good 😉
