Just finished! Painful stictch last 5 mins. Struggling with breathing thru nose thing. Did 4km in 30mins so doubtful I will graduate and be able to run 5k in 30 mins but time for that as I get fitter! Thanks for encouragement!

I am a graduate since June. I have only managed a sub 30 min 5K once. Just being able to comfortably run 5 K without stopping is amazing. Your running a great Pace. Well done.

Thanks. I have entered into a 6k run next weekend. I have some running friends who are regularly running 10K and training for half marathons and ridiculous tho it is worried about how I compare to them! We are all posting on Strava. For next run I am going to forget about pace, slow down in beginning and try and avoid stitch! I want to keep running regularly and enjoy it thatโ€™s main aim!

I did enjoy it but think went to fast at beginning got quite a painful stitch 10 mins before end which got worse. Didnโ€™t stop me but slowed me down towards end and made it less enjoyable. Next time going to go slower at beginning and concentrate on breathing. I was trying to go a bit faster and wanting to get close to 5k but as I did 4K today thatโ€™s not going to happen, but it may do in future!
