Used to be quite fit and walked for miles but a couple of years ago I stopped and I found it hard to get back on track. Looking forward to following this programme and to get back to my old self!

Welcome aboard. I'm quite new to the site and to running but these guys on here are brilliant, they give you loads of encouragement and support, they even offer help with your aches and pains. Hope you enjoy the site and your running 😁
Welcome to the best running club in the world, there's only loads of help and support here. Our site mentors are always worth looking out for, when they post or reply, it's chock full of sense.
They are the (thunderous applause) Oldfloss and IannodaTruffe . So once you've done your runs, put your posts up as we are all interested in how you do...

Thank you! I've done my first run today, first day of the first week and I must say it showed me how unfit I am as I was delighted when the cool down started!
I'm ready to do this though, the thought of being able to run for half an hour in 2 months time and the support from you all lovely people will keep me going ☺☺
Good for you. Like the others say keep posting and getting any advice you need. The help on this forum is amazing.
Good luck and enjoy
