Hi Fellow runners

This is a great start to the new year and the new me! :)

Proud to say I am now part of the finished club, and can run 30 minutes nonstop!

Not only that, I gained a new Garmin over Christmas, and I am loving all the gadgets it brings, so after running the 30mins non stop I saw I was close the the 5k mark (needed just under 1Km) and as I was feeling good on that day decided to knock off 2 goals in 1 run and carried onto the 5km mark, which I am pleased about!

Started this back in October, and I couldn't even walk up a hill without feeling out of breath haha, so I am amazed how far I have come, so to anyone who may read this and is just starting out, please trust the program and the podcasts, they really do work!!!

Next stages for me I think will to just carry on with my 30 min runs 3 times a week and I will probably look to start doing park runs around spring when it warms up.

Thanks to all the words of encouragement from the other members of this site, you really helped!

I get that!! I have been looking at times for local park run and I would be at the back of the pack though some people run without registering their time. (I wonder) !!πŸ˜„
