One of the Adminstrators advised yesterday about calves behind everything.🤔for running.👍

You do not need to do squats with weights only in a gym.

You can do heel raises onto your toes, and the same movement by pulsing. There is another similar movement with heels on floor and try lifting your toes.

The serious Dragons Back runners, a champion,he does 90 mins on a treadmill at full incline in the winter to build calf muscles.

Regular daily stretching helps also of course.

Well done you. You smashed it.You can touch the summit.👏👏

Well done.

Make sure that your footfall is under your body, not out in front, otherwise that overstriding can cause calf ache.

Slowing down also reduces the strain. You can speed up again when it settles down. The ache is possibly symptomatic of you being close to the limit with your calf, so take care.

It may help if you make sure you stretch those calves daily. If you get any pain rather than aches get some professional afvice.
