Almost there!! It's been a lengthy process what with flu, Christmas, snow and general life getting in the way. I might only ever manage 2 runs a week and I hope I can continue after my next run.
I've found a route with no dogs chasing me, which is half off road so I can take my young dog with me ( oldie stays on his sofa, he's too old for all this). I think it's about 5km from start to finish, but the question is about the warm up and cool down...do I try and walk back on myself at the beginning so that I don't have to run past home at the end?
Worried that I'll keep it up after finishing this, so I've booked on a 5km race in April, wonders will never cease! I'll never be a natural runner but I keep going for 30 minutes which is a miracle if you'd seen me running up these hills in November!
