Feeling good

Well just completed W5R3 and I must admit when the intro said you’re going to run for 20 minutes I thought that’s what you think but I did it and felt great. I’m in South Africa for a few months and not being a confident runner up to now I’ve only been out once and the rest have been in the treadmill but today I ran through the estate and along the main road. I felt so good that when the 20 minutes were up I thought I’d run for an extra 5 just showing off in front of the neighbours 😉 Bring on W6 👍

Ditto, just completed the same run. Whilst it was tough, it was easier than I anticipated and I feel great for completing it. Looking forward to week 6, notice it starts like week 5.😀

Very well done getting out there and completing your run. W5R3 is a milestone- psychologically as much as anything.

I really chuckled about your show ing off to the neighbours ( I was usually concerned to avoid mine seeing me incase they phoned for an ambulance) but henceforth do resist the temptation of adding extra minutes beyond the program- it increases your risk of injury. 😃
