Just completed week 2. To be honest I look forward to the next run until I’m going to bed the night before it’s due and then I start doubting myself! Had a few aches and pains yesterday, was beginning to think I wouldn’t be able to run this morning but, having read all the advice on here I decided that I would get my kit on regardless, walk out the door and then stop if I needed to.
Actually feel better now I’ve run!
Joined Spotify and made lots of new playlists and really enjoyed running to new music which definitely motivates.
Looking forward to week 3 (well up until the night before obviously! 😳)

I love the night before a run... still.... set out my gear the night before.. ready for morning. Little flutter of excitement... even after two and a half years
I smiled when I read this, as I remembered a post I did in those early days...
So, very well done for getting out, despite the feeling the night before... maybe focus on how awesome you are, for doing this and how great this journey is... it may help quell the doubt
Haha love the photo Oldfloss! I have to say I feel quite proud laying out my kit - I still can’t believe I’m really doing this!
I love the feeling after a run and for the first time ever I feel positive about getting fit. Can’t wait to be running in the early morning sunshine come the Spring.
Have to say, this forum is amazing. I spend a lot of time reading through the posts and feel a real sense of comradeship.
Well done for getting out there you will soon find in a few weeks the running bug will kick in🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️😊we all have felt the same way as you at the beginning but trust me you will be graduating before you know it & keep posting. Running is as much about believing in yourself as it is running. Loving old flosses links well worth checking out! It reminded me I forgot to stretch yesterday!! Keep it going the prgram works 😊
