I ran for twenty minutes. Woohoo.

Thought I would struggle with W5R3, couldn't imagine being able to make what seems a huge leap from 8 mins to 20 non-stop. Started off slow and kept it slow throughout and it paid off. Really felt that I had pushed myself today when Michael finally said Ok, you can slow down to a walk now. Looking forward to week 6.

I no I felt the same I was dreading it I’m on my last run of week 9 and my daughter started week 1 I actually found it more difficult stopping & starting then running the full 30mins. My daughter said I can’t ever imagine running for 30mins I said don’t worry you will when the time comes. Good luck you can do it 😁

Well done! I remember that feeling. It’s amazing what you can achieve when you put your mind to it. Keep up the great work and enjoy the rest of the programme. 😊

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I surprised myself although there was a point early on in the run, my legs were already feeling heavy, when I thought there was no way I can do this but it seemed to get easier the further I went - slowing down is the key.
