Fantastic W3R1 in pouring rain

Finally a run which didn't hurt my feet/ankle/calves. It was wonderful. The rain just made it better, even when a car went through a puddle and splashed me- I just laughed out loud (no idea what people thought of the plump short woman swathed in hat, rain coat and joggers laughing to herself whilst singing along to hiphop). I'm an urban runner. I usually jog down Green Street in East London at 7pm looking in all the sparkly Indian wedding and cake shop windows as I go past. Also- I drank water all day which I think helped with the legs.

Well done and great that you enjoyed it - its always best to run past cake shops ! Its pouring done at the moment and I don't normally run in the rain but you've got me thinking I might just try it today.

Well, just popped across the border into Switzerland ( I live in France) as the swiss weather forecast was better Although I've graduated twice, I am restarting C25K after injury and now on wk4 so it was good to get out in cold and rain and "skip" over the puddles. I am not sure I would have gone for a run in the rain today if I hadn't read your post so many thanks and lets keep on running
