So after the gait analysis and new trainers, I waited for the knee pain to subside and started week 3 again. 1st run my ankle was throbbing, but I thought it was a side affect of my new foot position. 2nd run was painful!
Now I have had a swollen ankle for a week! It looks like a sprained ankle! Never had ankle problems before.
I’m feeling really disappointed and disheartened!
Feeling like running isn’t for me. 🙁

Would be sensible to have the ankle checked out by your GP. Try not to get too despondent and do not let this set back get the better of you. Life isn't always straightforward or easy. Good things come to those who work hard at something. Once you have healed properly, running WILL be for you and you will reap the benefits too.
Personally, I don't think that people should even think about C25K until they have done a month or so of walking 5 days per week for at least 30 minutes per time - and frankly some would need much more than that. EVERYBODY can run - but there are no quick fixes!!!
