Well begun but then...

Not having run properly (and then reluctantly) since schooldays 40 years ago I downloaded the app and got through week 1, feeling very positive and pleased withmyself. On the first run of week 2 a week ago I strained my ankle and haven't run since, though I'm hoping to do so tomorrow. Would I be better off going back to the beginnng? To be honest, I feel just doing the W1 exercise regularly for a while would be good enough exercise compared to what I've done in recent years, but I would like to progress eventually!

🍏 So pleased you have written in & have the desire to run. Sorry about the ankle. Here is a link which gives you good advice about how to tackle C25K. It would definitely benefit you to start from the beginning as you know you can do it. It will also be good to start back slowly with that ankle. Strength and flex exercises in between to strengthen your body will be very helpful. Have a little read and do let us know how the first run goes!

🍏I certainly will. Take it slowly & you will be fine!

Well begun is half done ….and if there’s a will there’s a way you can do it. Sorry to hear about your ankle just stay at your own pace even if you have to repeat the same run many times over it’s not a race just try and enjoy. Keep running keep smiling.

As others have said, do a week 1 run and take it from there, good luck
