I too am just back from my very first C25K run! But I downloaded the wrong thing so I had to listen to an irritating cheerful American voice telling me I was doing great all the time - but worst of all the routine was TWO minutes running and 3 minutes recovery x4 - the first bit nearly killed me and it took all my mental energy to force myself to complete the 2 minutes. It was hardly a run more like a shuffle and no breath to even QUACK but I got to the end of the half hour and I am home - sweaty and cross but a bit pleased with myself. I don't want to listen to that chap again though I will have to find the proper one!

Well done and welcome to the forum.
Stick with us and we will cheer you to the finish line.
Ha ha! Bet you wanted to punch that cheerful American guy by the end. II would recommend the official NHS app, rather than the podcasts, cos you get to choose your trainer and can listen to your own music. You can download it here,

Take your time and don't worry about how far you have to go, but look at it as how far you have gone!!!
