Running clothes

Just starting week 3 run 1 tomorrow, I’m feeling in a good place so far with the run times but still working on my pace. Looking for advice on running items to buy for wet and cold weather as I overly wrapped up yesterday and was too hot running and still got drenched by the rain!

I tend to go out and get wet. I haven't found a waterproof that doesn't make me sweat more, but maybe I'm a just sweaty pig/haven't found the right clothing yet either! Cold and wet together is a difficult one. I wear a long vest under a long sleeved baggy running top, warm up real quick and then 5 mins later I'm not cold! I don't mind getting wet cos I'm usually drenched in sweat anyway!!

I have a Ron Hill lightweight wind and shower proof jacket... no sweating at all... online in sale... very odd colour:)

I have one as well. With a little yellow flashing light on the back. i second that no sweating. It keeps me warm enough till i begin running but doesn't make me too hot.

That's good to know, I shall investigate.

The only pace you have to use for C25K is an easy conversational pace. Any faster is too fast.

I find a good sport bra a long sleeve running top with a zip to the chest and a lightweight running jacket like karimor where there's ventilation at the back... allows enough wind and shower protection and enables me to ventilate fast by opening zips when needed. If you are getting too warm too quickly slow your pace till you can run comfortably.

Thanks for all your tips guys, I’m definitely going to invest in a lightweight jacket 👍🏻
