After a bad night sleep really didn’t feel like getting up at 6am and running this morning. Knew I’d regret it if I didn’t go so ventured out in the rain (don’t mind a bit of light refreshing rain so not a problem!) Rt leg/foot hurting a bit so maybe time for a gait analysis (although I’d be afraid I can’t run far enough)! Anyway seemed to relax into it, started feeling good, ran past 3 people and didn’t care (it was dark 😊). Finished the run with Style Council “shout to the top!” Feeling happy now, ready for the day!

Well done 👍 I love the early morning runs too best part of the day. You never regret going for a run even if you don’t feel like it sometimes. Keep up the good work 😀
Well done you.. the best start to a day.
Get the gait analysis... not worth letting the foot niggle turn into any thing more serious
I'm amazed by you, people, finding the strength to go out on a short night sleep. If I do so, I need to make sure I can have a nap later in the day, otherwise I'm a zombie. So all my cheers!! Style Council, yes, that would be great to add on that C25K music podcast. Thank you for reminding me Someone also had some songs from The Jam (A Town Called Malice). I definitely need to make my own set list to get motivated again. Wish you some more pleasant runs!
Good work Sarah! And it is such a nice post-run feeling, pleasant contentment. Aaaah. I am a big fan of early morning running too, and was out in the rain at 6:15 this morning. I peeped out the window when I woke up and was in two minds, as it was coming down heavy, but I went - and it was fab. Rain didn’t bother me at all!
Do go get a gait analysis; it is so important to have the right support. You got to look after your running body!
