Week 1 day 1: I did it!!! I can not run!! π but... - Couch to 5K
Week 1 day 1
Ha ha...good first post!!! The most important words there are βbut I stuck with itβ thatβs EXACTLY what you should do...you can run, itβs just buried deep inside you...keep posting on here, keep reading & KEEP RUNNING ππΌββοΈππΌββοΈππΌββοΈ Well done for doing the hardest part...π
We can all do it! I canβt believe I can too! Keep it up but stay slow.
Welcome Sarita! I am soooo looking forward to a post that you will make in about 2 months time telling us that you CAN run. This wonderful program will take you there and your amazing body will adapt. π
Yes, it's a great group of encouraging people. I joined the forum by mistake - it was the best mistake ever!! π
Well done.
Read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... for lots of advice.
Enjoy your journey.
Just keep on sticking with it and you'll be fine.
Well done for starting... you will soon get hooked Iβm sure!ππ€π
Congratulations on completing the hardest part! You have great attitude!
Keep going! Slow and steady is our neverdyeing motto Slow and slower with a smile on your face and most of the time with colour of monarch red on your face as well (if you're even a bit like me)
To keep your motivation high: keep posting, and keep your running clothes and gear prepared ealier. If you have Gremlins tying to talk you out of it, put your clothes on, gear up, and just go out of the door (even if for only 5 min). It works magic!
Happy running!
Three pieces of advice - DON'T GIVE UP, LISTEN TO YOUR BODY and REMEMBER, IT ISN'T A RACE. we have all been there; we have all had wobbles and doubts, but we are all still here, and we are ALL rooting for you.
Welcome to the friendliest group around.
I repeated many individual days and many entire weeks because I found it super hard. But, here I am, part way through Week7. The point is, you're doing it, and if you don't give up you will graduate... even if that means it takes you a longer time. Who cares!? You're getting in shape and it's amazing. I hope you're proud of yourself.
