Week 4

Seems like week 4 has really gone up a gear argh! I have achieved the 5 min run. My tracksuit bottoms were falling down constantly -bloody annoying! I was in the zone but had to keep pulling at the waist band. Think I have an excuse to buy some new kit ( any excuse will do) hehe

Check this site out...they do some lurvely leggings...but most importantly they all have a drawstring round the waist which ensures that they NEVER EVER fall down.i used to have this problem & its really distracting.these are brilliant & i havnt had a single problem since 😊 go on...treat yo'self 😉

I'm rather tempted by the rainbow leopard leggings. any idea how efficient the bras are?

in reply to

I havnt tried any of those unfortunately...you might have to...you know...purely for market research purposes 😁😉

in reply to

Haha yes ;) They do look lovely, though i get trapped in the sort with the crossover backs, unless they come apart at the back.

Please do not put up more links like this! I got stuck on the mr men page for ages till I realised it was for children and now I have a shopping basket full of amazing possibilities that I know I will spend hours whittling down to any definite.

I know that I will have finally come out of the running closet when I don something awesome like these.

Oh yes welcome to the world of Lycra, for security and peace of mind 😁

I'm in week 4 too. Hope you're achieving. I have a pre-run ritual now which includes checking my shorts are tied as I went through a phase where something went wrong or I'd have a clothing malfunction.

Hope you are gonna run to the shops!

Good luck and keep it up

Yep, check Claire's link. Before you know it, you will have an addiction for the kind of clothes you would have crossed the street to avoid before c25k. Who knew an addiction to lycra and wicking fabrics lay just around the corner, not to mention running shoes: cushioned, uncushioned, responsive, sensitive, supportive or neutral, high or low heel drop, road or trail.

Go on, you're doing brilliantly, time to reward yourself!

Get yourself some bottoms/shorts that fit (stay up), must have been a nightmare trying to run with the ever present threat of them falling down!

Amazing work achieving the 5 minute run! I find it tough but just about manageable. I'm glad I'm not the only one having clothing malfunctions while running. I recently set off my run (in public may I add) with a comfy pair of track pants over thermal leggings- I realised I was garnering more stares than usual- I only realised that my track pants had slipped down when they reached my knees! (Needless to say I've switched to drawstring shorts over thermal leggings instead of my baggy track pants).

Oh no! I totally feel your pain! Your show great determination as you kept on going after your unfortunate incident!

Yes the 5 mins seems to be pretty painful 😖. I need to run slower.

Absolutely! Anyway scratching yourself to hoist up your kecks is no fun. Get some new ones for sure. Sooner the better. Sleek jobs. Ankle zips, waist tie!!!!!!! and a generous back pocket for your phone and house key.

I am a bit embarrassed by the number of run tights I own though I have to say. Blush
