This might be a really really blonde (I am blonde) question to ask, I’ve noticed that after my run it records at just over 2 mile, I can’t work out if it’s 5k which is 3 and a bit miles why it’s only recording as 2? I’m just starting my third week. Please be kind

How far do I run??
I’d be pretty surprised if you are already running 5k by week 3, unless you’re very fast and fit already. 2 miles in week 3, including your warm up and warm down walks seems much more realistic, although I might be wrong. I graduated in December and it still took me 38 minutes to complete my first 5k run just this morning. I would just concentrate on getting to running continuously for 30 minutes and not focus too much on distance for now. Happy running!
1km = 0.2071 leagues = 0.6214 miles = 4.97 furlongs = 49.7 chains = 1093.6 yards = 3281 feet - in real money
Your app? watch? should have option of metric or 19th century somewhere in settings ( just kidding, I'm a scientist and < 56 years old, so never really did imperial) Ducks into foxhole...
Give him 25.4 centimetres and he'll take 1.609 kilometres! Not quite the same, is it. No wonder the decimal measurement system is so difficult to understand!
Ignore distance and pace at this point just concentrate on getting the runs done ✅
The objective of the plan is to get you running for thirty minutes non stop, which may or may not take you to 5k.

Hello! There are no stupid questions here, though there are a fair few blondes! Yes the programme has a misleading title. It should be c2thirtyminutes but I guess that's not as catchy. Since it focuses on running at your own pace, it's about running for thirty minutes, not 5K. 5K is achievable for most in 30 minutes (though for many not in time for week 9), and after you graduate you will have all the tools you need to get to 5K, just maybe it'll take a few minutes longer. Well done lb getting to week 3, keep going! And keep asking us questions if you have any
I know what you mean. I felt disappointed when in W3R1 I covered less distance than in week 2. Didn't help that I was further away from home and with hailstone. I changed my route for the next two runs so I couldn't compare!!. Just concentrate on running it feels such an achievement that distance doesn't really matter.
