How far do you run?

I think I must be taking really long strides or running/walking too fast..I covered 2.2 miles in week 1 run 3..is that too far? What is 'normal' for each week?

I don't know what's considered normal or not, but I've just looked back and that's exactly the same distance I did in week 1 run 3 (now on week 5) and I didn't find it too far. Just do what feels right, if it doesn't then slow down/speed up :)

8 mins jogging at a 12min mile pace is 0.75miles, plus 24 minutes brisk walking at a 17min mile pace is just over 2 miles, so you must be doing one or both a bit faster than most people's starting pace :)

Just checked my log - my week 1 run 3 was 1.75miles - but then I was then (and am still) really slow so it sounds like you're doing great! Well done!!

I am really slow, I didnt' get to 5k (3.1 miles) in the 9 weeks of C25K but as I am very short, and rather overweight and havent run for 34 years,I was just chuffed I could do the programme at all!
