It is a training plan for runners.

You might find this more appropriate nhs.uk/oneyou/active10/home...

........I reckon running is more fun, though!

Ok. Thank you for link.

I wish I could run. Health issues with joints so running too far is not good for my joints.

I am medicated and need to walk more so the link you gave me will help.

Thanks.

Enjoy running ........

You could try doing it on an elliptical machine (or cross trainer as some people call it). They are pretty pointless for most peoplem who just use them because they are lazy, but for anyone with joint issues, knee mobility issues and anything that is exacerbated by impact, they are ideal.

Hi,

I also have joint issues, I have hip replacement and awaiting another one. Also knees are not good. However, if you build the muscles around the joints then you should find that you can conquer most exercises.

I would say build your stamina and muscles through walking and then go on to jogging.. it is not a race, it is a lifestyle.

Good luck
