After lots of rest and compression, the ankle is slowly getting less painful. (Bizarrely, it is less painful to run on than to walk slowly on!)
Really enjoyed my sunny run this morning consisting of three x 5 min runs.... and I do love Sarah calling me “pet” 🤣🤣
Hoping to conquer the 8 mins of run 2 on Saturday. Hope everyone else is having a lovely sunny day too. Happy running everyone 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️

Well done Liz, keep it up. If you’re carrying a slight injury, I’d try to take a extra rest day prior to Run 3 😊

Thanks Ted, yeah, I will be having 3 full days off in between run 2 and run 3.

You'll blast through the 8 mins. Just load up 5 or 6 of your favourite tunes and you'll be too busy singing to them to notice the time.
Just take it nice and slow. You dont want to further aggravate an injury. Take an extra day as TedG says.
The run will still be there once you are ready

Im glad the ankle is improving. Week 5 is a real breakthrough week. The world is your oyster, reach for the stars add other apt clichés. X

Me and Micheal get to do wk5r2 tomorrow- he definitely doesn’t call me pet 😟 feeling slight trepidation. Well done to you and Sarah 👍
