Hello everyone! Not been on here for a little while but have been going to the gym and attempting running x 3 a week but boy is it hard!! I started on this running lark in May, nice light mornings, nice and warm, lots of sun so now trying to battle my way through the cold, ice, wind and rain is really really hard! My times have just plummeted but I do about 4 or 5k sometimes running sometimes running and walking. When I feel a bit disillusioned and sick to the back teeth of the constant rain and wind causing havoc with my running I remember that this time last year I couldnt run for a minute and I am still getting out there 7am in the mornings. For all you new runners just starting it will get better and so much easier in the coming months and dont give up!! Roll on spring and summer xx

Oh yes, spring now please! I’m so looking forward to running at dusk as I get in from work, rather than 3 hours after sunset! I want to run by the river, but won’t do that in the dark. I’m dreaming of a light evening....

I am so pleased it isn’t just me!! Ran this morning just 2k to the gym and the wind just took my breath away but at least the sun was out! Keep running all of you xx
