Um...you know how I wasn't going to buy anything more for a while?

But Aldi had these.

Running is terrific exercise, they said. It costs nothing, they said. All you need is a good pair of trainers and a couple of t-shirts...

Sepulchral laugh...

It does seem to work though: that nasty tight bit in my left calf has eased. And it was cheap.

How do you use it?

I put it on the floor and roll my calf over it from Achilles upto top, I have tried it on my hamstrings and quads and on my backside : sitting on it . Some of it is painful and quite tiring ...

Sounds like hard work!

But worth it :-))

β€’ in reply tobsimonuk

It really does seem to help.

Im not sure of the precise technique, but I just rolled it gently up and down my calves, and it seems to have done the trick.

Torture is probably closero the mark? I've heard that you need to apply firm pressure so sometimes a bit masochistic.

β€’ in reply toLordi

Ah, well it seems to have worked, and I wasnt too brutal 😳

Lots of you tube posts showing how to do it properly, and I suggest that you check them out. It does hurt but only like a deep muscle massage

Oh, thanks 😊
