Thanks for all the laughs and encouragement for my plan to wear running gear all day under my work clothes. I did it, and got my W8R3 run in (although it turned out to be a poor choice of route - no marked tracks, rubble underfoot and quite steep gradients in places, and dusk was falling quite quickly - I won't do that again). I can't believe how close I am to graduating, nor how much I am beginning to enjoy running. Looking forward to going out on a familiar route on Sunday.
Happy Saturday to all, especially those just starting out - I was so unfit back in September, and my legs felt like lead weights as I tried to pick them up. I have followed the programme pretty strictly since November and it works! Take it slowly, and come here for advice and encouragement; you'll feel great in no time.

Well done! Isn't it incredible the places this programme makes you run in? We've become so hooked that there's no way we're going to miss a run, wherever it is
Well done Lizz. I’m doing run3 later this afternoon. Can’t wait to have this under my belt and then on to week 9. Hope the rain holds off till then. All the best for the last week. The end is near 😊
