Week 9 on the horizon

Just completed week 8. It has been a long ride as set backs along the way but I'm ready for week 9 now and graduation. Looking for advice as to how to keep up the interest and activity apart from park run.

I have the same doubts, I like my piece of paper that is on my treadmill telling me what to do.

I am currently in consolidation and then I will head over to bridge to 10K to run Ju-Ju's magic running plan.

I need to set myself goals and plans or I know I will slack off, I haven't gotten to the place where running for running's sake is happening to me.

I'm sure it will come though (fingers crossed)

If you want to motivate each other, feel free to send me a message

Thankyou. What is consolidation? And what is jujus plan?

Consolidation is when you just need to get more miles/km in your legs, I will be repeating w9 3 times, so 3 more weeks of 30 mins of running.

Some people run shorter distances, some work on hills, some do the extra podcasts. I feel like I need to get 30 mins of running down and feel more comfortable with it. Then my personal goals are to get to 5K running, then to either work on my speed or my distance and move to 10K.

There is a "Bridging to 10K" forum on this site, and a runner called Ju-Ju has made a magic plan, to help people who need the structure of having a plan (I do!).

I'm on mobile at the moment so I don't have the links, but someone will, or I'll put them up when I get home tonight
