Week one done

I so pleased I started this. For a long time I've been unhappy with feeling unfit but I couldn't see how to begin changing it. I'm 50 and I stopped exercising about 10 years ago. I stopped smoking and put on weight. This programme is great. The structure and this community have made it possible for me to make a start on getting healthy again. I hope I can keep it going.

I just finished Week One, and already I’m seeing a difference. Had to run for a bus the other day, and didn’t feel like I was about to pass out afterwards!

Very well done bluebanella! Your post could have been written by me.

I also completed W1R3 tonight. I will continue to follow your progress. :) Congratulations to us both and to anyone else who is persevering with C25K.

Thanks determinedbear and well done to you too. I'm planning w2r1 for Sunday.

oddly nervous about the longer run but the go slow advice seems to work. However it goes I'll post it here. All the best to you.
