W5R3 Tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous about doing a 20 minutes run, its a big jump from the 8 minutes in W5R2.

Honestly, it will be fine. everybody balks at this one, and everyone seems to manage it. It went really smoothly for me, much easier than the earlier stopping and starting runs.

If at first you don't succeed...well, there's always the day after the rest day :)

Wishing you many happy miles in your future :)

you did TWO 8 minutes though, and walking between (which still takes energy!) - you're just closing down that walking bit! You'll settle into the run. And what's the worst - it turns out to be a "practice" run and you give it another go after a rest day, as Irish-John says. No biggie (except the grin you'll have when you complete it)!

Trust me you will be fine I was in a panic over the 20 minute run but once you set your mind to getting to five minutes then at 10 minutes you are half way there so dig in and push on. The sense of achievement will be worth it🥇

This bit doesn't make any sense but afterwards you won't doubt the programme again!

The body is amazing it's the mind that lags behind. Just try and you will succeed. Trust us, we did it and so can you!

You can do this! All your previous runs have built you up to this, enjoy 😊

You’ll be fine. I found running continuously was actually easier than continually stopping and starting. You have time to get into a rhythm and can just relax and think of other things. Remember to take it really SLOWLY.

I was exactly the same! Very worried about the jump but on the day you just make it through. Start positive and you’ll be fine. Good luck

W5R2 8+5+8=21

W5R3=20

Slow and steady and practice grinning.

I'm just coming up to this run too. But my philosophy is 'any run is better than slobbing on the sofa', even if the run falls short of perfection.

I did W5R3, the first 6-8 minutes were the most difficult(breathing) but then it was better. I enjoyed Dire Straits during the run and the music helped me.

I did this run on Sunday and was convinced I wouldn’t finish it. Struggled after 15 minutes but refused to stop! Felt so good when I got to 20 minutes, you can do it!
