Just finished my first run and feeling great. Tired, but great.
I was planning on doing a gentle run around the park but got scared off by the park run so decided to circle the streets behind, where there's a hill 😣.
Planning my next run on Tuesday so will hopefully be able to stick to the flatter ground 😁.

Well done. First run out of the way now. It will get easier but maybe you should get a few runs under your belt before you join the park run again. Handy that it’s so close to home though 😃
Yikes! A hill on your first run! But well done, and yes, very wise to avoid getting tangled up in the park run! That could end up like a comedy sketch!

Well done Matthew, first runs are always the hardest but it is a great barrier to break, both physically and mentally.
Don’t be scared of park runners, most of them don’t bite!! I was the same as you a couple of months ago and Janice is right, you will be joining in the parkrun before you know it.
Nice one! Just concentrate on c25k slow and steady, there's nothing scarey about Parkrun, just a nice load of people out for a run/jog or walk. Maybe try it later in the programme..
