Just had my first practice run ... started Week 8 first run and it was a big no no ...
Not running my normal park as away for Xmas, misjudged the size of the hills in Derbyshire and only got half way up what I thought was a gentle slope... but it just went on and on !!
Will chalk this one up to experience abd take a break until after Christmas I going.

That is a great attitude. A practice run never hurt anyone and will help build your legs and lungs. You'll do great the next time round.
Practice runs are good and I'm in awe of you tackling hills 👏😬
In six months time you will sneer at such minor impediments to your progress.
